Entry into Real Estate

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by admin on 09-04-2010

So I finally took the plunge into Real Estate.

Not that I have many offers before. I saw to many unscrupulous agents, that it sickened me, and also i didn’t see any worthy managers that can mentor me.

Now that I have in my good friend Raama, I am well on my way to be a dedicated, diligent, reliable realtor..and of course, the industry is going to be regulated so that means no-nonsense agents will be around, and the rest, thrown into deep dungeons(i wish!)

Really looking forward to this journey, and i hope to have you support.

Simplest way to get followers for your Twitter account

I have tried applications that will get followers for your twitter account, but I am a little skeptical about giving my password away to a 3rd party application.

So the easiest way to do get followers, is to join follow people with a large following, who will also follow you back. You can go to http://socialnewswatch.com/top-twitter-users and keep clicking and follow people.

I just clicked a few names, and I got flooded with over 100 followers in just ONE day.

Enjoy Twittering

Top 5 ways to make your Blog stand-out!

There are like, a gazillion people logging into the net everyday, so how to bring 0.0000001% to read your blog? Follow this simple steps :-

1)Add some Booze to your Buzz.

NO, not getting people drunk but get your blogsite registered with popular directories and forum. Use networkedblogs >in Facebook, so when you update your blog it gets back to Facebook, and you can tell the whole wide world. Be a busybody on some really popular sites, give your 2cents worth of compliments or whatever people may find useful, and link it back to your own blog…hmmmm, sneaky.. hic!

2)Boogie on Social-sites
NO, none of that webcam girls from Tagged.Don’t waste your time playing games either(what the hell is Farmvile??!). Create Fanpages for your business, with links to your site as well. Uses Twitter,FaceBook,LinkedIN,Tagged,Skype to shout out your frustrations..No, i mean your blogsites, and any updates that you have done.I know people who just keep adding people in socialsites. My take:connect with people whom you add, and those who add you(5 in a day is good). It’ll be good to say something nice on their birthday, give a comment or 2 once in awhile..that’s how you get noticed!

3.Have a BIG ego
That’s right! Keep googling yourself to see if you are at least on the 1st page, and if your blog appears on the 1st page.Otherwise, you are doing it wrong. As mentioned, link your blog in FaceBook, I guarantee it will show on the 1st search page.

4.Be Congruent
Like an Equilateral triangle. That is, always say what you mean and mean what you say, even in your everyday business.Whatever you are selling, just be consistent with it. I have 2 sites, one is a business, and the other my personal site (
http://das.sg)…one is telling about my business, and the other which tell people WHY i do the business. As placing myself as a family man who wants to have family time, i need to tell people why I do what i do. And of course, i sell also on my personal site. People still like to see someone whom they can identify with.

5. When there’s something FREE, use it!
Get a lot of mileage using Listjoes and Commission Junction. IT”S FREE..Post comments/photos/videos on Youtube,Flickr,FB,Twitter,Tagged,Friendster,Orkhut,..one guy did a video on his pet cat, and had a million hits on his video in Youtube…get the picture?

Today as i brought my son to school today, i left him at a distance from the gate. He didn’t know that I was still there, as he made his usual small calculated strides. He then reached a ledge thats is about a third of his body length. Normally he uses the ramp to go over the ledge. Most kids just walk over the ledge. But Ryan is different.

Ryan only started to walk when he was two. As such his motor skills developed late.Kids his age run and jump, but he makes calculated moves, being very careful not to fall.Coming back today,I looked at his 1st try. He raised his leg,but couldn’t reach the top of it. He then moved to the ramp, but just paused there for awhile. Then he went back to the same place, and watched how the other kids did.

He tried again, this time almost reaching, but almost lost his balance. Just then when I thought he would go back to the ramp, he did what i thought no normal kids will do. He went on all fours, with his heavy backpack and all, literally climbed over the ledge. And a victorious and a proud smile erupted. All this he did, not realising that I was watching him. A tear unconsciously rolled over my cheek.

This may not mean to many people. Afterall, this is such a simple act. But if you see your child struggling to do a simple act, it can break your heart. But this tear was a testament that he is in His good hands. I have always asked God that a kindred spirit can take him under his wings, and groom him to be the gentleman Ryan is destined to be.

When i saw his fighting spirit, I know that he will do well in life. It doesn’t matter if he is not an engineer, or a doctor or a pilot. But I know that he is destined to do great things. I saw that when he was born, and admitted in the ICU for 10 days. His doctor said he had a fighting spirit. I saw it then, i saw it now. And I will keep reminding him, when he forgets, that nothing, absolutely nothing can stop him from doing GREAT things.

He must have got that from me :)

All the programmes I have tried before, have failed me. Notwithstanding the fact people may have been successful in programmes i have failed, it just means that it didn’t work for me. But failing in MLM or network or internet marketing doesn’t mean that it is bad. In SHMC, this is the ONLY business that i have been doing consistently, and making money as well.

Take it from someone who has failed consistently, and yet never gave up. Give a serious look at http://dad.shmc888.com

Dubai downfall, and it’s consequences

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by admin on 29-11-2009

If you have been following on the latest tirade of Dubai’s financial woes, you will understand that nothing is spared in these tumultous financial crisis. Abandoned buildings, abandoned luxury cars at the airport only spells of a mass exodus of scared individuals in the face of an impending downfall of a giant.

Abu Dhabi’s reluctance is helping it’s “sister” city is quite expected really, judging by the lack of total bailout for the finance sectors and banks. Banks who have been loaning in the billions are stuck with a few options, or lack thereof.

Will we be going into another spiral?

In my previous post, i mentioned about Martin Wolf’s comment on the current crisis. This time with the Dubai fracas, the story might just be a lot more affirmed.

The question is, do you want to be caught in such a turmoil as when big countries or big corporates spend money unwisely or incorrigibly, or be independent of how the economy works, your interest is always protected.

I am not sure if you heard of this: There’s always money to be made, when there’s chaos or turmoil in the financial sectors. No, i am not talking about government bailouts where basically it’s taxpayers money going to the rich, tobe made superich.

I am talking about making money work for you.I am talking about using a medium(in this case, the internet,of course) that works for you to make money. And a system(that is, networking) to make money that will benefit ALL who are involved.

I mentioned before that the health and education industry are industries that will constantly and consistently make money, regardless of how the economy is. People WIIL always spend money on these 2 industries and that’s why it’s a multi-billion dollar industry..still is.

Imagine, if you can combine ALL these elements, then wouldn’t you agree with me,that you will make money?

Then you will consider this: the StayHomeMillionairesClub, has all these opportunities that is put forward to you. To top it all, we will be launching the Forex Learning programme 1st week of December. Learn how to trade forex the safe way. All you need to be is determination and focus. And that too for 6 months. How is this different from the rest of programmes out there?

For one, it’s more AFFORDABLE then most programmes out there.Secondly, it’s an intensive 6 months programme that’s allows you to keep in touch with the trainers, and learn and review through the 70 odd videos.Thirdly, and most importantly, it’s a business opportunity. Where else can you learn Forex, and recommend it to you friends and make money. In fact, by just recommending to just 1 friend, you will make back your investment.

I will be letting the cat out of the bag soon, so watch this space

Is the Financial Crisis really over?

Renowned Financial Times associate editor and chief economic commentator Martin Wolf dismissed the global economy recovery as “completely laughable”. Instead he warns that the global economy could be set for a big, ugly fall should the bullish political and business leaders believe too much of their own rhetoric. And if the cards are not played right, a fiscal and currency crisis could be just around the corner-triggering another recession which could usher the end of liberal trade as we know it- Today,Nov21

And on that issue of Weekend Today was a picture of earth with elastoplast on it! That’s the reality. While all the world economies went on a “stimulus” packaging, the “orgasm” will last but only for awhile. Then it goes back to “mental musturbation” on how else to use tax-payers money to cover the deep wrinkles and cracks on the face of a failing economy.

Let’s face it. What really has been turned around?absolutely nothing. GDPs looks enhanced because of “forced spending” through the stimulus packages. Money is just going around and back into coffers. What about the Common Man?

How do we as common man make sense of what is happening? We will still have to spend money. If all stop spending, the economy dies..it’s as simple as that. But what if we don’t have money to spend? Then what?

This is where you need to know how to make money WORK for you!For every dollar spent, you have to make that dollar plus at least 10cents back. That 10cents, metaphorically, adds up to be your profit, investment, dividends or whatever you want to call it.It may not seem much, but at least you are making your money work for you.

There are so many ways to make money work for you. Question is, do you know what they are? Check out the ads in the papers about making 2nd income, and go to any of these meetings and you will see a full house, which means people are interested to know about it,but still remain clueless. Too many hogwash, scams etc to just turn people off.And yet, people still go to these seminars.

Which shows a healthy appetite to knowing more, which is good. I for one, have tried many, and failed. And what i am doing now, that is learning and earning through internet marketing, by far, is the BEST system i have seen so far, that has helped me make money and learn a new skill.

Granted, i am not making thousands of dollars, yet.But the truth is, i am definitely on my way there. The market is flooding with new internet users every second!and there will always be a market for internet marketing for years to come. In fact, it’ll be a lifestyle.

Rule of thumb for any of you out there who wants to try any of these “second income”. Let nobody, absolutely NOBODY, tell you that you can be rich overnight. No way, any system out there, will give you an income that will make you quit your job straightaway. Even if it’s Forex trading(which i will be starting soon) takes time to build. And in internet marketing, it takes at least 2 years before you see a decent income. In fact, that will be a good gauge,a 1-2 years frame to make anything work. Remember, fast money=fast scam..see one,and run away from it as far as possible.

In short, get into a programme quickly, the recession may just get worse. As the scouts say, “Be Prepared”

When i first saw Orientus few years ago, it was in shambles, with sleaze written all over.Today, it’s a different story.

Bali Culture by the Pool

With a new management, and a new marketing company(of which, i’m proud to say i am part of), the place has been revamped with the oomph factor, and what a wonderful sight!

Orientus at night

With a sparkling pool, and a gym overlooking it, and the Bali Culture restaurant adjacent to it, this is a very cool nice place to relax, especially in the evening time. I see mostly yuppies, in the late 20s-early 30s crowd gathering at this water-hole. The more “mature”crowd hangs out in the fine dining area, directly perpendicular to the al-fresco site.

Then there’s the new Japanese Santory Tepan, that offers an aromatic range of food, and many a times, when i pass the area, it makes me salivate.

I personally have not used the spas yet, but they are all tastefully furnished, needless to say, and I am waiting for the new kid on the block, Javanese massage, that will be opening the doors soon in November

Membership is very affordable starting from $98, but i found the present $168(usual $198) a very good buy, as it comes with a FREE night stay, plus a free 1 hour massage(my friend did it recently, and he said it was too goood, that he came late to work next day cos he had such a good sleep!), plus two $20vouchers that can be used in the resort, plus $5 carwashes(usual $10), plus free doorgifts, plus discounts…the total value itself is worth more than the $168, so personally it’s a worthwhile membership for a year. In fact they are extending the 1 year package all the way to June 2011. Thereafter, it will be a 3-year membership, which most probably be more higher.

So if you are reading this, and feel this is something worthwhile, then callĀ  or email me. This is for a limited time only.

Why People DON'T Make it in Network Marketing

Filed Under (Network Marketing, club millionaires, daniel anil das, internet business) by admin on 29-09-2009

These reasons are not in any particular order, but they are EXACTLY why people don’t cut it. There are actually several reasons why people don’t make it. Here they are…you ready?

They don’t work. When I say “they”, I don’t mean the network marketing companies, I mean the people in them. Seriously, a great majority of people never really step up to the plate and go to bat. They sign up. They “say” they’re in, but they never really commit. These individuals often do everything BUT work. They THINK they’re working or they “kid” themselves into believing that doing research, cleaning their desk, getting ready, or becoming more organized is work. That doesn’t cut it folks. If you are EVER going to build a check in this business, you’ve got to get to work! So…what IS work in this business? Promotion, exposure, talking to people:prospecting. You’ve got to be constantly “flipping rocks over” looking for new business. In network marketing, you’ve got to BUILD a network. Building a network requires that you get in and do. When I say do, I DON’T mean do a little whenever. I mean DO a lot, do it now, and keep ON doing it. People don’t work either because they are lazy, they don’t know WHAT to do or HOW to do it, or they let fear stop them from taking action.

If you’re scared, that’s alright. So was I. So were most people. You’ve got to be willing to face fear one step at a time, one call at a time, one contact at a time. Exercise courage in the face of your fears one step at a time. It’s really the only way you’re going to work through it. You can’t wish it away. You can’t take a pill to get rid of it. You’ve got to face that demon head on and destroy it. The great news is that you CAN conquer your fear if you simply FACE IT.

They quit. People quit all the time. They start and never finish. Why bother starting anything if you aren’t going to finish? Look. Unless you’re rich or a trust fund baby, you’ve got to work to survive. You can either do it here in network marketing and have some leverage in your life and a real chance at creating greatness, time freedom and true wealth or you can work on getting someone else rich in a job. Either way, you’re going to be faced with challenges. Just because you’re in a job doesn’t mean it is going to be easy. In fact, in today’s marketplace having a job isn’t really secure anyhow. I know people who’ve been in what they thought were secure jobs, working for one company for 10 or 20 years, and then find themselves without a job literally overnight.
Do yourself a favor. Make a commitment here. Don’t got into a company thinking you’re going to “give it a shot” for a bit and “see how it goes”. Instead, give it everything you’ve got and MAKE it go. Don’t quit. You’ll never get to the finish line if you do.

They don’t know what to do. People aren’t noodles. You can’t “throw them against the wall” and see if they stick. You’re not making pasta here. You’re building a business. People who don’t know what to do or how to do it, don’t often do anything.

They really don’t care. Yep. They don’t. Some people really don’t care. They SAY they do. They SAY they want change, but they really don’t. If they did, they’d take actions to make that change. There are lots of people that are not congruent between what they SAY they want and what they REALLY want. They simply don’t care. You know what? When you have someone like that in your business, you’re wasting your time. Instead, go find someone who DOES care…and care for them. Work with them. Show them how to do it.

They expect too much too soon. This goes along with the “they quit” reason, but a bit different. People are programmed to have specific expectations about making money. Their entire lives have been filled with “work two weeks and get a check” mentality. This business is different. In fact, being in business for yourself, whether network marketing or anything else is different.

ALL businesses take time to build. You’ve heard that ” Rome wasn’t built in a day”. Why then do people expect that they’re going to build a huge business in 60 to 90 days? They’ve been programmed to expect things to be different. Understand this. You are paid on the accumulation of volume in an organization. Volume takes time to accumulate and build. Exercise patience.

They jump ship. There are TONS of people that are looking for the answer in another company. You’re not going to find it. People who jump ship don’t make it. They THINK the answer is in another product, another team, another comp plan. The answer lies within. Look around. If people are making money in your company and you’re not, the answer is YOU. It isn’t the comp plan’s fault, your sponsor’s fault, your product’s fault, it is YOUR fault.

The good news is that in the end, it will also be your fault when you create success!

How to MAKE IT in Network Marketing

Work.
Don’t quit.
Learn.
Care.
Adjust your expectations.
Stay.

If you’re going to make it in this business, you’ve got to work your business. Make a commitment and DO. It’s great to be organized and have a clean office, but that won’t pay the bills. Get out there and talk to people. Be consistent. Do something every day. Don’t quit. This business isn’t easy, but it IS fairly simple. You’ll be challenged here. You’ll be challenged elsewhere. The rewards of you staying in the game far outweigh the pain of you getting there. It’s worth it. Learn how to do this now. Get yourself in front of other people that know HOW to do this business and learn from them. Don’t think you’re going to figure it out all on your own if you already don’t know how to do it. Lean on your leadership. Use them. Find an expert and watch them. Do what they do. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Do what works. Plug into me. I teach the HOW part of this business. Plug in to ANYTHING and ANYONE that knows more than you and learn from them. You should care. If you don’t, you’re toast! Take control of your own life because nobody else is going to do it for you. Step up and start caring about you, your kids, and your future. CREATE it. If you don’t have a plan for you, someone else is going to have you fit into their plan. I promise you this. The plan most people will have for you won’t be nearly as nice as the plan you’d have for yourself if you simply cared more. Change your expectations now. Face the facts. The reality is that it is going to take time to build. Stop letting yourself down thinking that you’re going to be rich or even close to it overnight. It takes time. Anything worthwhile takes time to build. Stay where you are, the answer isn’t somewhere else. Put your head down and your blinders on. Step up to the plate, commit and take action. Make a decision to STAY someplace long enough for it to happen. Again…just being there doesn’t cut it. You’ve got to work it.

The answer to your success lies within, not within another company. Stay. You’ll be happy you did.
